Manifesto

I only write about music I like. Some may see this as the death of criticism, but I don’t see it as my place to tell you what not to like. All I can do is relay the things that strike my ear, and hope you feel the same way.
There are plenty of negative voices in the world talking about the death of country music, and how much the mainstream has killed the genre. I think the genre is very much alive and well, and subscribe to the Simpson’s “Just Don’t Look” theory. That’s why you won’t hear about music I don’t like on here, because they aren’t worth mentioning. Even mentioning such artists gives them more attention they deserve.
That said, you might see fewer posts on here than some other sites. I might post something every day for a week, then go silent for a while. That’s the way it goes when you only cover music that you can get excited about.
